In what is always a special day for the seniors, the Harker boys golf team defeated Sacred Heart Prep in a well contested and well played match. Captain Victor Shin issued a challenge to the team to go after fellow senior Katherine Zhu's school record of five under par in nine holes. Stanford bound Daulet Tuleubayev had a 20 foot putt on hole 9 to tie the record, but came up slightly short. With Daulet's four under par 30, sophomore Jaimin Bhagat's one over par 35 and junior Bradley Lu's 36, the Eagles advance to 8-1 in league. With a win on Monday against Nueva, Harker will have captured its fifth consecutive league championship, potentially going 48-2 in that stretch. A phenomenal feat.

Also playing well on Senior Night are Gabriel Yang (35), Shaan Gagneja (35), Josh Broweleit (36), Victor Weber (career best 36), Victor Shin (37), Aditya Tadimeti (37) and Bryan Zhang (39).

Congratulations to Daulet Tuleubayev and Jaimin Bhagat for taking co-medalist honors with Menlo's Max Ting to lead the Eagles to second place at the WBAL championships yesterday at Coyote Creek. Both Jaimin and Daulet shot one under par 71. Daulet became the first individual to win back to back league titles. Jaimin may be one of the very few sophomore to ever become a league champion as well.
