The ACE program is designed to help local and international students enhance and build their confidence in English.
Harker Summer ACE Program
Local students attending schools from around the Bay Area and qualified English-proficient international students (equivalent to scoring 65-120 on the TOEFL exam) are able to participate in this specialized program. The goal of this program is to help students increase their standardized test scores (SSAT /ISEE ) and enhance their overall performance in their English classes in the future.
The Advanced Core English program will prepare students for admissions and success at high quality independent schools, giving students the opportunity to exhibit their best effort academically, socially and behaviorally. At the conclusion of the session, students will receive a certificate and a progress report to summarize their achievements in class that they can show to independent school admission offices. Full Day (5-8 p.m. PST): $2,695
Students who are admitted to the Advanced Core English program are highly recommended, display a record of good behavior and are motivated to learn. Classes are small and teachers provide outstanding instruction, personalized attention, individualized support and comprehensive evaluation. Students must meet age requirements as of July 1, 2020:
- Elementary level students are between 6 and 10 years old.
- Secondary level students are between 11 and 16 years old
