Middle school is an exciting time, and we are passionate about guiding, supporting, challenging, engaging and inspiring your children on their journeys. Our students support each other, love learning, and explore freely, spreading their academic, emotional and social wings.
Harker’s middle school, located at our Blackford Ave. campus in San Jose, serves students in grades 6-8.

Programs & Extracurriculars
We offer wide-ranging programs and extracurricular activities like athletics, arts and after-school clubs to encourage students to find their passions.
All of our teachers are highly qualified; many have advanced degrees and all pursue ongoing professional development to offer our students a world-class education at Harker.
Our students support and encourage each other’s learning, interests and accomplishments, and make lifelong friends. Character development skills, community service opportunities, and academic and emotional support are all a part of the Harker experience.

Our campuses are like small neighborhoods, and Harker’s middle school is a family away from home for our students. Our close-knit community of students, parents, teachers and staff comes together at many school community and events.
Middle School Summer Program
Middle school campers can customize courses and activities based on their interests in our Summer Institute – Middle School. The camp is uniquely designed for this age group and offers a wide range of academic, art, athletics and activities to choose from.
