The lower school, located at our beautiful Bucknall Ave. campus in San Jose, serves students in kindergarten through grade 5. Our goal is to provide your child with a nurturing and supportive environment in which to grow and thrive.

Harker’s lower school is a close-knit community of students, parents, teachers and staff. We encourage all families to be a part of our school community and events.
Lower School Summer Program
Camp+ offers three camps for grade 1-5 (Core Focus, Pick Your Passion and Out ‘n’ About) and Kindercamp just for incoming kindergartners. We focus on math, science and language arts with a variety of activity options like submarine science and writer’s workshop and a separate swim school. Programs are one, two or four weeks in length, beginning in late June.
