Greg "Greg" Lawson
Greg Lawson joined Harker in 2007. In addition to serving as assistant head for student affairs, he is an adviser. Before joining Harker, Mr. Lawson was assistant head of school for academic and student life at Rolling Hills Preparatory School in San Pedro. Prior to that, he spent 16 years at The Webb Schools in Claremont, where he served as assistant head of school for special projects, director of residence and student life and director of publications. He also has coached basketball, and taught speech communication and computer science. Mr. Lawson has had an eclectic past. "(I have) dug methane wells for dump sites, driven an 18-wheeler, headed the light manufacturing division of a computer electronics company, climbed a 14,000-foot peak, snorkeled in the clear blue waters off the Virgin Islands and spent a sabbatical touring Civil War sites," he explains. He enjoys spending time with his family, working on his home in Cambria, walking his Rhodesian ridgeback, hiking and watching Los Angeles Clippers and Cincinnati Reds games.
