Yumiko Aridomi was a long-term substitute and tutor at the middle school before become a full-time upper school Japanese teacher.
Before she came to Harker in 2013, Ms. Aridomi taught in the San Jose division of the San Francisco Japanese Language School, the Japan Society in San Jose, and was a teaching associate in Japanese at San Francisco State University while a grad student there. Ms. Aridomi has also been an English writing lab instructor at De Anza College, a teacher of Japanese language and culture at a junior high in Wisconsin, and worked as a system engineer at Panasonic in Osaka, Japan, where she was born and raised..
Ms. Aridomi enjoys advising the Japanese National Honor Society at the upper school. She loves reading and traveling, and playing with her cat!
