Teaching students to be effective communicators and leaders in the classroom, debate room and beyond.

Upper School Speech & Debate

The speech and debate program at Harker’s upper school motivates students to think critically about current national and global events, strengthen their public speaking skills and develop their leadership capabilities. When our students learn to be effective communicators and strong leaders, we see it translate into greater academic success.
