Upper School Athletics Schedule
Girls golf came in fourth place in the annual Helen Lengfeld Memorial Golf Tournament, its best finish ever, in a 17 team field. Senior Katherine Zhu tied for first place with a 2 over par 74 with four others at stunning and tough Peninsula Country Club. Also pacing the Eagles are freshman Natalie Vo (tied 8th with 77), sophomore Katelyn Vo (tied 14th with 79) and freshman Olivia Guo (83)
In a battle for first place of league play, Harker defeated defending champion Menlo 186-192 at Los Lagos Golf Course on Tuesday. The Eagles prevailed due to a strong team effort from each of the linksters. Senior Katherine Zhu earned her second medalist honors this season by shooting an even par 34 with a birdie on the first hole. Strong performances by freshman Natalie Vo (36), Katelyn Vo (37), Olivia Guo (38), Larissa Tyagi (41) and Vanessa Tyagi (42) helped propel into a tie atop the league standings, both with records of 6-1. This is the second best team score ever recorded by a Harker girls golf team.

Congratulations to the Harker Girls Golf team for placing second in the league tournament on Wednesday at Sunnyvale Golf Course. The Eagles were lead by none other than senior Katherine Zhu, who shot a three under par 67. Zhu was five under par through the first eight holes. This is Katherine's fourth consecutive league championship individual title, making her the first and only golfer, male or female, to achieve this feat in the WBAL.Super sophomore Katelyn Vo also impressed with a 2 over par 72, by draining a 25 footer on the 18th green for birdie, to place fourth. Freshman sensation Natalie Vo was on fire on the front 9, shooting one under par, finishing with a four over 74, tying her for seventh. Freshman Olivia Guo also put in a good round with an 81, placing 14th. Rounding out an outstanding team effort were Devanshi Mehta and Larissa Tyagi.
This marks the best finish ever for the girls golf program.
