Upper School Campus & Facilities
Harker’s upper school campus is an inspiring and spacious place where our students explore their academic passions, try new things and just hang out. The upper school campus is truly a neighborhood for our students, and bustles with activity into the evening and on weekends.
The 12-acre campus includes a new library and 79 large classrooms and labs, some of which are housed in Harker’s LEED Gold certified science and technology center, Nichols Hall. Our budding student scientists have dedicated research space in Nichols Hall where they can conduct long-term research projects, much like the space found only at universities.
Athletic programs use the upper school gym as well as the gym facilities on our nearby middle school campus. Upper school athletes also use the new Singh Aquatic Center and Davis Field, both completed in 2009. Construction will begin in 2016 for a new athletic center and performing arts theater complex. Our performing arts programs also use theater space on our nearby middle school campus, as well as the auditorium in Nichols Hall and five rehearsal spaces on campus. Our robotics program enjoys a special space in Nichols Hall especially designed for them. And there are beautiful spaces all over campus for students to just hang out and socialize!
