Biography

Kellie Binney-Smart is an experienced teacher, spending time as a voice instructor, guest conductor and musical director for many workshops, clinics and theater camps. Ms. Binney-Smart was the director of the women’s chorus, Vox Feminae, at Pacific University, where she studied for her master's degree.

 

Ms. Binney-Smart has musically/vocally directed "The Wizard of Oz," "Sweeney Todd", "Once On This Island," "Dear Edwina", "Crazy For You," "Schoolhouse Rock, Live!," "Honk!," "Pippin," "Folk Tales From Around The World" (an original show) and numerous musical revues.

 

She relocated to the Bay Area from New York City where she conducted student performances at the United Nations and Carnegie Hall. Along with teaching music, Ms. Binney-Smart loves the outdoors, playing sports and spending time with her friends and family.
