Lower School Curriculum

To provide the very best curriculum and learning opportunities for our students, subject specialists begin teaching in kindergarten, and subject departmentalization starts in grade 3 at Harker. Spanish is taught beginning in grade 1.

Study skills are taught in grades 1-5 to prepare students for academic success.

Inspiration and learning come from many sources. Our global education program, as well as field trips to stage productions, planetariums, museums and more provide students with additional experiences to spark their imaginations and expand their world.
