Message from Head of School

Here at Harker we're tremendously proud of our century-old tradition of excellence in education. In fact, it's the entire Harker community's commitment to this tradition that makes our school such a dynamic, invigorating and inspiring place.

Our recently completed $28.4 million expansion on the upper school campus - which includes a new athletic field, aquatics center and state-of-the-art science and technology building - especially exemplifies this shared vision to provide the very best learning environment for our students.

In an increasingly competitive global environment, Harker continues to set the pace for excellence in education. We have earned national recognition for our programs and the achievements of our students and faculty, and we continue to focus on providing the best possible preparation for our college-bound students.

But most importantly, college admission representatives tell us our students "have soul," and we couldn't agree more. They raise funds and awareness for global issues, enthusiastically support each other in celebrating successes and trying new things, and are kind, considerate and thoughtful. Friendships form for life here, and we invite you to visit us and learn for yourself why Harker is such a special place.
