Upper School Athletics
Physical education is an important aspect of a total education, and we feel a healthy human being should develop mind, body and spirit. Our students may fulfill their physical education requirement through the election of programs in non-competitive athletics, competitive team sports, a traditional physical education program or a combination of the above. All provide students the opportunity to make healthy lifestyle choices, gain confidence and practice fair play and teamwork. Harker offers interscholastic team competition in a wide variety of sports, including: baseball, basketball, cheer, volleyball, soccer, football, lacrosse, track and field, cross country, tennis, golf, swimming, softball, water polo and wrestling. Our boys and girls competitive sport programs compete in the West Bay Athletic League (WBAL) and the football, boys volleyball, wrestling and water polo teams compete in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League (SCVAL). All leagues are part of the Central Coast Section (CCS) which comprises 130 schools located between San Francisco and King City.
Go Eagles!
