Annual Senior Moms' and Dads' Luncheon

What is the Senior Moms’ & Dads' Luncheon?

This wonderful tradition is an opportunity for the underclassmen parents to honor the senior parents as their senior children graduate from Harker. The senior moms and dads are the guests, and the grade 9-11 and alumni parents are the gracious hosts who provide a wonderful potluck lunch and join their fellow moms and dads at the event. It’s a time to reconnect with friends and hear from the senior parents about their students and time at Harker. The whole event is organized by a committee of grade 9-11 parents who have been planning the event since February. For any questions, please email Jennifer Hargreaves at jenniferh2@harker.org.

I’m a senior mom/dad – how do I register?

Register online

I’m a grade 9-11 or alumni mom/dad and I would like to participate. What should I do?

There are three ways to participate:

  1. You can attend the event and bring a dish.
  2. You can attend the event, but have no time to bring a dish. No problem! We gladly accept a $20 donation so our committee can purchase a dish for you.
  3. You cannot attend, but want to contribute. Thank you! Please drop off your dish inside the Main Office when you drop your child off that morning.

Please register online and indicate the best of the above three options for you.

Harker, for us, has been truly K-life. Our family has made lifelong friends and has learnt valuable lessons that will be with us always. The Senior Moms' lunch was a culmination of this wonderful journey. It gave us all an opportunity to share a special turning point in our lives with other parents and affirm the continuance of the future of our children and our friendships.
