I remember one time when I was in ninth grade my friend Maya and I didn't quite understand the closed campus policy yet and went off campus during our free seventh period. We came back to campus with icees and were sitting in the main hall by the old activities wall drinking them and having a good time. Mr. Nichols walked by and started giving us a hard time about it, but was really just kidding. He always had a smile on his face and would say hi when I walked past him from then on.
