8:30-11:30 a.m. Academic Program

All grade 1-6 campers participate in a three-period schedule of mathematics, language arts and an academic elective class. Campers have a recess and snack break during the morning program. Snacks are not provided and should be brought from home.

11:30 a.m.-12:10 p.m. Dismissal / Lunch

12:15-3:30 p.m. Activity Program / Group Time

Campers meet with their activity groups, divided by grade, for a variety of recreation and sports activities. Each group is led by an enthusiastic and caring adult group leader and a high school aged junior counselor. During this period, campers rotate through a variety of special activities including computer, archery, arts & crafts, dance and climbing wall, and have many other sports, game and theme activities programmed especially for them by their leaders.

Grade 5-6 students will have choice periods throughout the session to allow older campers to focus on individual interests. Our rotating schedule allows campers to try new and challenging activities and enjoy many of their old favorites! Swimming lessons (grades 1-4) are provided during group time. Grade 5-6 campers do not swim as part of the group time.

3:30-3:45 p.m. Dismissal / Afternoon Break

Partial-day campers are dismissed and must be picked up by 3:45. Full-day campers have time for supervised free play.

3:45-5 p.m. Special Interest Activities

Special interest activities are chosen daily from a long list of exciting choices. This period allows campers to play with others who may not be in their groups and/or follow favorite camp staff to new and different activities. Choices include sports, games, crafts, archery, circus, climbing, computers, dance, music, etc. Grade 5-6 campers have organized group water activities during Special Interest. The pool is also open during this period for free swim, and activities are geared toward maximum participation and fun.

5-6 p.m. Afternoon Program Ends

The campus is supervised for full-day campers who remain after programs have ended.
Campers gather their belongings and wait in the loading zone or the playground for their
parents to pick them up. Campers who remain after 6 p.m. are charged for supervision and will remain with staff until they are picked up.

Lunch

Full-day or partial-day students may bring lunch from home or order a camp lunch. Camp lunches must be purchased for the entire session. (There is no option for ordering lunch on an occasional daily basis.). All students receive milk or juice and fresh fruit at lunch time.
